Romería del Pino (Gran Canaria)

The pilgrimage "Del Pino" is the ultimate party on the island of Gran Canaria, in honor of its patron saint, La Virgen del Pino.
This holiday is characterized, in addition to its importance, the great pilgrimage of people coming from all parts of the islands, many of them come from the island of Gran Canaria walking from different villages to reach Teror, the venue of the celebration of parties.

Last year, I was lucky enough to have accommodation on the day of the pilgrimage in Teror, a friend offered me her home and very happy to accept your proposal as it would hold a luncheon with many friends. About 3 pm, and we began to hear music and sounds of "timples" through the streets of Teror, increasingly began to see an influx of pilgrims who came walking into town.

At about 5 pm, began the procession, where the various carriages of the peoples of the island, made their offerings to the virgin dances in front of the church of Teror, and under the watchful gaze of people who enjoyed the party live and millions enjoyed watching the party on television relaying the Canaries party for all the islands live.

At night, the procession finished, we went to the place where he had live music, and where you can dance with your friends while listening to actual songs and rhythm. And about 5 in the morning our body broke down and went to sleep.

Therefore, if during the month of September are in Gran Canaria holiday, do not forget to come to this party as never forget.
