Aldea de San Nicolás - Gran Canaria

The village of San Nicolas is located west of the island of Gran Canaria. To reach it, we need 2 or 3 hours drive from the capital and that due to terrain, its roads are not as fast.

Undoubtedly, the village is a spectacular place for those who want to see a sunset with the Teide (Tenerife) background as a witness. On the other hand, if you want to see beautiful views, you can climb the mountain of Inagua, where you can watch an image that is saved to your heart.

In addition, each year, the Sept. 11 party held a traditional pre-Hispanic origins, the party of "El Charco", which revives the custom of getting into the coastal ponds. In the current party, everyone gathered around the Marciega, a large pond formed in the ravine at the edge of the beach, and the launch of a firecracker, all run to the charcha in search of fish and spirits fun.
Getting into the pool in this way is a way that they used the old canaries to disorient the fish and to catch them more easily.

In conclusion, to comment that from here we can walk to the reserve of Güigüi, where he hides another island paradise.
