Agüimes (Gran Canaria)

Agüimes is a municipality belonging to the Spanish province of Las Palmas. Located in the southeast of the island of Gran Canaria (Canary Islands). It has several protected natural areas.
The town has hotels and short stay home in order to develop rural tourism, which attracts several hundred visitors a year. It also has an industrial estate (in Arinaga) in which host more than 700 companies.
In the current Agüimes the legacy of our ancestors live in harmony with modernity. Their tourism is linked to heritage, nature, traditional cuisine and local produce, tradition and culture.

Agüimes Township has a coastal stretch of 9.9 kilometers approximately, characterized by its great beauty and variety. Throughout this area are the beaches of Arinaga, Cabrón and Vargas, among many other coves.
